Top fighters dont generally take risks like that no matter who u are cuz usually ur management doesnt want u 2...why risk urself on a good no name low payday fighter who could possibly beat u LOSE LOSE situation..
Chopper hop out the fucking Convo btw..

Verno Phillips, Paul lookin good. He gets hit too much tho
Ive been advertising on Boxingscene.com today
Uh oh lol
Somebody has Winky Wright syndrome, I'd like to report African Assassin missing.
Hold up, you said Roy fights the top fighters all the time.

So lets see, he fought Hopkins and Toney, good. Hopkins wasn't the same fighter he was a few years later. This was when RJJ refused to fight him again.

Trinidad was shot, he'd just lost 2 of his last 4.
He got KTFO by Tarver, who's best years are behind him.
Monetell Griffin & Vinny Paz? Hardly the top fighters.

So you say he fought the best competetion the whole of his career?

Roy never fought the top fighters at all, he fought some, just like Calzaghe, but not alot.

"Jones began 1999 by knocking out New York City police officer Rick Frazier. After this, many boxing critics started to criticize Jones for fighting overmatched mandatories who few had ever heard of. "

"He was also criticized for never fighting Dariusz Michalczewski, an unbeaten Polish fighter who had been stripped of the WBA & IBF championship belts in 1997 without losing them in the ring."

And Roy blatentley ducked Hopkins for the last 10 years since he knew Hopkins would probably win the rm.
ahh I had that problem, is some1 using wireless in your house?
Almost every boxer in the world doesn't fight the best or most dangerous fighters if they have a good chance of losing, that will ruin their paydays.
Danny Devito is the midget legend
Big example of someone not fighting the best competition right now is Mayweather. He is known as great, but he blatentley ducked Margarito, Williams, Cotto, Clottey, Berto who are clearly the top fighters at WW. Instead he fights a shot Gatti, Judah, Baldomir, Mitchell.

Why don't you question him but question Calzaghe? Cuz he's British.

Before the fight this weekend, almost everybody said that Hatton would get outboxed by Paulie. Now all of a sudden Paulie is shit. I don't get it. Great logic tho....

Ya know the usual shit?

It is what it is, he beat a good fighter nothing else. Don't act like he beat Cotto or something. We all know where Hattons limit is..when he steps up to the Floyd Mayweather class of opposition, he gets beat.
What is it with you brits ? You have been in the boxing shadow of US for so long and now you try to prove a point that you've finally stepped out of it.

But producing a Calzaghe and Hatton doenst make up for it.
These guys are good but got to where they are more out of clever management than anything else. It's not like they pulverized their divisions, taking on everybody everywhere.
I'm from Denmark and I have no illusion that Kessler is the next Ray Robinson..
The best you've had so far is Lewis but he was schooled to that level in America.

I aint tryin to prove a point about nothing. I just mean that everytime a Brit wins a fight, the fighter they have beaten becomes "shot, past it, a bum, over rated, a hype job"

It's the same thing everytime.

Just because we support our fighters more than most countries do, it doesn't mean that we are trying to prove a point.
Ricky/Joe/Naz/Lennox/Haye are bums?

Lol ok.
