i can confirm that. I watched him fighting toosmooth and he used the cheat to knock him down.
He got some skills and i dont know why he think that it is necessary to use this lame cheat. I dont know what you dudes do but i dont fight him anymore till he stops doing shit like this.

What I like about the game now is that there is no apparent overpowered move. Like Perma Lean, or Perma Jab..You have to mix it all together. Sure you could say right cross is pretty strong, but it's also pretty easy to defend against, UNLIKE a real powerful jab.

Jab should not do as much damage because it is a lot easier to land than cross and travel with about the speed of light compared to cross.

Sure if you start using your cross as a "jab" you will run into stamina problems.

When jab was a lot stronger, fights became jab fests. There was rarely any reason to throw a cross because it would be just too dangerous.

Concerning stamina..I think we need to make up our minds..either there IS stamina or there isnt. IF there is such a parameter, it should also have some sort of effect. And I dont mean that you would be slightly tired in round 10 after spamming 2000 punches a round.
It seems like Unstop has found a perfect balance. Even though he throws a lot of punches, he always has stamina left in the tank, because of his ssr (stamina save round).

It's really complex to balance things, and I dont think anyone would ever agree on settings.

I think it should stay as it is, until players have found out how to play with the current settings.

It was a little stupid of me to let people know that settings could even be altered, now everyone wants me to change settings every other week.

i understand your point here mikkel. If you change anything there will be a new line of players that are unsatisfied with the changes. I was one of the players that complained about stamina but now i think you are right. Dont change anything. This are the best settings we have since all the changes took place and we should be allright with them and get used to them.
I remember the time when everytime you started OB there were new setting-changes and that nearly destroyed OB because everyone was confused. And due to this i changed my mind now regarding to setting-change.
You cant make it comfortable for everyone and this settings are fair for every player.

you forgot stamina fatny. I watched your fights and you got 0 stamina in the 3th round. Same happen to me if i throw all punches like i want. So you are forced to save stamina and that takes the action out of the game.
I think this is important to mention.

Much more new guys take a look to OB...some stay. So OB is growing and growing. Nice work from you guys Mikkel and Fatny (search engine optimizing, new site-look etc.).

Maybe maxie is a cheater, maybe not. In my fights he never cheated. He refused to fight me after i gave him a load of fights, that was his only mistake.

another thing is that maxie is one of the guys i mentioned that just fight weaker opponents to get more points and get higher in ranks. I always gave him matches and matches...yesterday he got some points and was higher in ranking because of this cheating sniper mentioned in this thread and bang he refused every challenge i sent him.
I promised him that i will never fight him again and i think this is the best thing you can do with this dude.
Best thing to do with players like this is to ignore them.

Btw, the system used in OB is called Elo Rating which is used on most chesssites..and this is in fact a mathematical system

yeah, and its not a bad system...but it got its weak points.
Most of the OB-Players fight everyone and dont care that much for points. Personally i know just 1 member that uses that tactic to fight just weaker opponents and refuse to fight stronger ones.
If everyone would fight everyone that system would be perfect. I know about the problem to get a perfect ranking system.

Hey check it out, I found I automatically updated mathematical ranking system for OB.

to the point like i know it from you

there is only one problem. I saw a few fighters on OB that only fight against weaker opponents that got a streak of 1 to get more points and get higher in rank. Fighter that fight every opponent, doesnt matter if weaker or not lose loads of points with that while this other fighters get more and more points.
So it often happen that better fighters rank on place 15-20 while a fighter that is easy for them to beat is ranked 5-10 (and refuse to fight).
Thats the weakness of that ranking system and gives John the right to do such Top-Ten lists.
If someday there would be a ranking system without such weak points Top-Ten-Lists made on opinions are bs. But at the moment this lists are more accurate than the ranking-system.

. Ok i agree that sometimes it is a little bit slower than singleplayer was. But under normal condition its fluent and fast enough to have a fight with fun. Its not always the players that cause some lags. Very often its the server or the site.
And sucker is the serioust thing you can say to someone where i live (heard rumours that we got a deadly shooting after someone called the other one sucka last night..).

Well I fixed it for you, Looks better but your are wrong with beating almost everyone on my previous list. I know you dont beat me, mikkel, unstop, fatny, htf, boon more then we do. I'm keeping HTF in there has been playing alot this month. Fatny I took off.
