Fatny help Mikkel getting the right contacts for the deal you propose. You are the expert in the area. Tell him who to contact.

I don't have a lot of contacts, just a few graphists and programmers because i'm subpar at it and a few other guys that do seo like me. But this isin't really about SEO anyway, this is about trying to make something go viral.

I think the best way would be to make a huge list of phone game review websites, blogs and forums. Make a huge list of leaders in the social networks that talk about phone games and that people follow a lot. Find popular websites related to phone games where you could post an article as a guest.

Then you spend countless hours doing quality writing beforehand and, when the game is ready, you go berserk at your lists. You contact a ton of webmasters and social network leaders directly with a big email and a free version of the game available for them to test, hoping they'll then talk about it. You post quality guest articles, threads on forums and comments on blogs all over.

Doesn't a lot of technical knowledge. Just to write well, not be afraid of contacting people, and maybe more importantly to be motivated by money. Getting $$$ on sales can go a long way.

Just my opinion anyway.

I suspect Mikkel's way of marketing the game could be to only say it's out here on the forum, submit it on the apple store and wait.

The most interesting man in the world.

Hey mikkel I was thinking, maybe for single player dont even have a bot in the ring, maybe a trainer with focus mitts, or just a gym with a punching bag or something.

anything is better than nothing it might not make a difference to advanced more experienced players but it will help everyone else. (new comers, uprising fighters, the game in general, etc.)

Care or care..its putting it wrong. Im going to make a singleplayer in 3D, so I do care about boxing singleplayer games. However, I found 2D too limited now that I have made a 3d game that uses physics..its in within reach to simulate actual boxing, so it's hard for me to go back to 2d

Well hey I totally agree its just difficult and challenging for the average player on here. But that doesn't mean Mikkel hasn't done us a great favor by creating OB's existence between 2D and 3D that's a lot of time and work we gotta appreciate what we got for now. But at the same time 2D is a gateway and a first step in transition to 3D thats why it would a lso be greatly appreciated to have singeplayer in 2D as well but i guess theirs only so much you can ask for..

Fight Night is a very different game from ob3d..the ones that knows both says that OB3D is much better not graphics of course, but gameplay.

Mikkel old pal....i got a secret hint for you. If you put blood on your 3D-boxing you will get a lot of players there. Dont know if you remember the old "Thai Boxing" for C64. There were the portraits of the fighters on the upper corners and the more they hit each other the more blood appeared on their faces. I just played this boxing game back in the days because of this realistic effect. It would be better on the 3D game if the blood comes directly out of the fighters faces when they get hit but if this is too hard to complete such portraits would make the job and would make the game much more interesting for a lot of people.
Ya, ya....the old blood-hungry Redneck...i know

HAha I remember that Thai boxing game, in fact I bought it just like I bought every other boxing games back then..it had ok graphics, but it sucked as a game.

Here it is : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gMyT5lIUK-4

My favorite from the era is Frank Brunos boxing for Commodore..a Punch Out clone..second was Barry McGuigan boxing.

Favorite fight game from back then was Way of Exploding Fist 1+2 and Internation Karate and IK+. Really good games.
